Central TV & Internet provides our customers with superior quality cable and internet services. We aim to become the leading broadband provider in Belize, by utilising the most advanced technology available and providing superior services to our customers.
The company began operations in 2001 as Cayo Cable Vision, Central TV & Internet. Then, we offered between two to 65 channels and serviced San Ignacio Town, Santa Elena, and Esperenza Village. We expanded our services to Central Farm and Georgeville in 2002.
Five years later, we upgraded on our system, incorporating fiber network in our already existing copper network, and replacing old hardware with new ones. This allowed our network to provide up to 125 channels, including digital and HD channels.
Updating our network gave us the opportunity to provide high-speed Internet, leading to further expansion of our services to Belize City and most villages along the way in 2009.
We believe in innovation, as such, in 2010, we changed our name to Central Cable Vision with branches in Belize City, Belmopan City, and San Ignacio. Digital and HD channels were available to customers across the branches via Set Top Boxes.
In September 2012, we introduced DiBo (Digital Boss), a digital recording system (DVR). We decided to incorporate our internet service in our name and became Central TV & Internet (2013). In September 2014, we introduced MITV (Mobile Internet Television) - an app that works with most android and apple devices.
