Dr. IanG.Anderson is the Parish Veterinary Officer for St. Ann. Dr. Anderson was assigned by the Government of Jamaica, The Veterinary Division, Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries.
His practice presently focuses on mainlyfacilitating the treatment and overall wellbeing of dogs and cats.
Services include pet surgery, healthcare, veterinary house calls, grooming, medical and surgical care, dentistry, radiology and laboratory service, hospitalization, boarding and pet grooming.
Dr. Anderson is responsible for disease surveillance and its impact on the welfare of humans in St. Ann.
In 1982, Dr. Anderson was awarded a Government Scholarship to study at Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, Alabama U.S.A.
This scholarship was awarded before the completion of his first degree in Natural Sciences at the University of the West Indies (Mona).
At Tuskegee University, Dr. Anderson completed a bachelor's degree in Pure and Applied Science, as well as his D.V.M. qualifying as a doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
