HEYWOODBLAKE was formed in May 2012. The firm comprised of two Attorneys-at-Law, Lawton C. Heywood BSc (Hons) LL.B (Hons) who was called to the Bar in 1976, now deceased and Natalya Heywood-Blake BBA (Hons) LL.B (Hons), who was called to the Bar in November 2008. A Father and daughter combination that together have over Forty (40) years of experience practicing law.
Natalya Heywood-Blake's legal career started in the Public Sector, working with the Ministry of Justice as a Clerk of Courts. She was stationed at the Saint Catherine Resident Magistrate's Court. She remained a Clerk of Courts for approximately four (4) years.
As a Clerk of Court she was exposed to areas of the law practice to include Criminal, Civil and Family and there developed her advocacy skills. This has set the foundation for her private practice.
The areas of practice includes Real Estate, Wills, Estate Planning & Administration, Divorce, Personal Injury and Corporate & Commercial Law.
