Dr Carl A. R. Bruce is a noted consultant neurosurgeon practising in Jamaica since 2003. Dr Bruce, a cerebrovascular and skull base surgeon, has introduced minimal invasive spine and endoscopic surgery with intraoperative nerve monitoring for enhanced patient safety and recovery with early discharge.
Head of Neurosurgery and Medical Chief of Staf at the University Hospital of the West Indies Jamaica, he performs and teaches numerous surgeries. His vast body of work includes complex spine procedures, brain tumours, minimal access back and brain surgery, and new endoscopic minimal access procedures.
