The Maritime Authority of Jamaica is a statutory arm of the government and administers the Jamaica Ship Registry (JSR).
The JSR conducts the registration of all types of ships including pleasure craft, vessels under construction as well as those bareboat-chartered. We offer an attractive mix of registration incentives along with the substantial technical expertise of our in-house surveyors. Our surveyors work diligently to ensure we meet the needs and expectations of our owners. We also employ nonexclusive surveyors at all the main shipping areas.

The Registry operates offices in Germany and Jamaica with Deputy Registrars based in Greece, Malta, Germany, Holland, Monaco, New York, China, Finland, Ukraine, Portugal, Singapore and South East Asia and Panama.
