Since 1970, Hillcrest Retirement Home has provided excellent skilled nursing and rehabilitative services to the residents of Jamaica and overseas. We offer short and long term, and semi and private accommodations, we have trained Practical Nurses to tend to our residents every need, we have an RN and Dr assigned to the facility, they make their regular visits and are only phone call away.

We are located close to all major Hospitals. We can arrange Physical or Occupational Therapy with a licensed Therapist. We provide balanced meals for our residents and adjust as required i.e. Diabetic residents.

Islandsmiles opened its doors in September 1987 at 16 Tangerine Place. At that time our staff complement was only three persons - Dr. Jeffrey Meeks and two staff members. Thes e staff members are still with us today. The staff complement has grown over the years so that there are now 23 team members on call to take care of you. We outgrew the Tangerine place location and moved to our current facilities at 20 Hillcrest Avenue in 2002.

Dr. Jeffrey Meeks has worked with various associates since inception:- Dr. Stuart Scott joined us from 1991 to 1999 and Dr. Dwight Angus worked with us from 1999 to 2004. Our current associate Dr. Gail-Ann Allen has been a part of the team since 2005.

We have maintained a presence in the second city of Montego Bay since 1992, where we were initially located on Market Street. In like manner to our Kingston experience, we outgrew our original location and moved to our first Montego Bay Freeport facility in 2004 and since then have relocated to our present location at Southern Cross Business Circle in June 2016.
