Market Research Services Limited (MRSL) is the oldest market research firm in the Caribbean, having been established in 1975, following the merger with another market research firm, Market Research Jamaica Limited (MRJL) in that year. MRJL was a subsidiary of a London based research outfit and the current CEO of MRSL previously worked with that organisation between 1971 and 1974.
The company is a full-service market research organisation and has developed a very strong reputation throughout the Caribbean for the high quality of its project work. This is evidenced by the significant number of large-scale national and multi-national companies and international lending agencies as well as regional governments, for which it has carried out major surveys over these years.
Whilst the company has not established official offices in any other Caribbean territory, it has carried out numerous highly successful research projects in all the Caribbean islands, using a network of highly trained local interviewing teams in each island.
The company has also carried out major research projects in the United States, the United Kingdom and in Canada and currently offers services in Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts, St. Vincent, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, the Bahamas, Haiti, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Suriname and the Dominican Republic.
