Ms Stacey E. Mitchell has been a legal practitioner for over 30 years. She was appointed an Associate immediately out of law school with Frater, Ennis & Gordon having passed the Bar in 1992 and in 1999, she was elevated to partner.
In 2002 she exited Frater, Ennis & Gordon to pursue her growing interest in intellectual property enforcement and joined Foga Daley & Co. a boutique law firm specialising in intellectual property.
Two years later, Ms Mitchell joined the legal team of the Digicel Group. Her prior experience made her uniquely qualified for this position managing the legal section of the Legal and Regulatory Department of the combined Group and Jamaica Offices and their full portfolio of matters and cases, which included contracts, commercial law, conveyancing (sales, leases), civil litigation, copyright issues and trademark registration.
As of January 2011, Ms Mitchell was reunited with Frater, Ennis & Gordon and now accepts retainers primarily in estate (probate & administration), conveyancing (land), and commercial matters. She is also a Notary Public.
