Bhajan Singh Company Limited was conceptualized by Superchard Singh and his five (5) sisters with the assistance of Mr. Neil Seaton founder and Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Paints Manufacturing Company Limited and commenced operation in September 2000 as a small paint shop trading as the Rainbow Paint Centre on Molynes Road, Kingston 10.
This small paint operation has mushroomed into the importation and distribution of hardware building supplies and merchandise mostly imported from the United States of America and China with retail operations under the Rainbow Paint Centre outlet. In subsequent years, the operation has expanded to include furniture manufacturing under the name, Superchard and Sons Furnishing Company Limited at the Small Business Complex at White Marl in St. Catherine managed and owned by the Factories Corporation of Jamaica (FCJ).
Initially one factory space was occupied
but in the last two (2) years, with the assistance of the Bamboo Industry Association of Jamaica (BIAJ) and the Bureau of Standards, Jamaica (BSJ), this operation expanded into bamboo products manufacturing. At this point more space was needed and the FCJ was very instrumental in supporting our company to get an additional factory space immediately beside the original operation.
These business entities now operate under the umbrella of Bhajan Singh Company Limited offering services of the highest quality in the distribution of paints and paint products
hardware building supplies and merchandise
and manufactured furniture products, doors, windows, kitchen cupboard and cabinet with regular lumber (cedar, mahogany, poplar, birch ply, dress ply) as well as bamboo plyboard material.
