Our Tank-Weld Metals division began operation as a steel stockist in 1987, expanding its range over the years to include an extensive variety of metal products in various types, sizes and profiles. Later, we extended to the distribution of lumber and cement. To reduce importation costs and improve efficiency due to their wide product range, Tank-Weld invested in its own port and handling facility. Our Rio Bueno port sits on 30 acres of land located on the border of St. Ann and Trelawny. Occupying approximately 1 million square feet of covered warehouse space, the facilities are equipped with overhead cranes to ensure fast loading and protection of products from corrosive elements.
From distribution centers at Rio Bueno, Seaward Drive in Kingston and Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, we provide island wide delivery of its products to hardware merchants, building contractors, fabricators and various other industries across the island.
