Triple Js Cakes and Pastries is owned by their parents George and Mahala Gilford who have been making a name for themselves on island and abroad as novelty cake specialists. The Gilfords say the opening of the retail outlet has been a dream of theirs for quite some time.
Mahala Gilford, who is the primary baker, said customers can count on a daily dose of popular items such as donuts and pineapple tarts. A variety of fruit smoothies have been added to the menu and small cakes will be able to purchase over the counter.
Novelty cakes however need at least one week lead time and a deposit to be completed.
