In addition, institutional support is provided by a Guarantee from the Government of Trinidad and Tobago under the Guarantee of Loans (Companies) Act regarding the settlement of all claims due and payable to us.

We emerged out of what was formerly the Trinidad and Tobago Export Credit Insurance Company Limited (EXCICO). EXCICO was established in 1973 by the government to promote the export of goods and services. The goal was to grant regional buyers access to a wide range of manufactured goods on credit terms.
Since our conversion to EXIMBANK in 1997, we continue to grow and strengthen our operations.

Through this solution, we provide exporters with risk protection against payment default by foreign buyers on goods and services exported on credit terms.
