Building Maintenance Services Ltd provides services that make buildings clean, attractive, functional and safe. These services are offered in two dimensions:
i. Technical
ii. Janitorial
In the early years BMSL developed and promoted the janitorial aspects of the business. The technical aspects of the business remained under-developed but because of a demand for these services the company was forced to organize itself to deliver Petty Civil Building Works. A number of clients now consider BMSL as the 'one stop' shop for a full range of maintenance services.
In 2002, BMSL attempted to develop the high-end technological aspects of building maintenance and sought the services of an Engineer to head this department. At the same time however, J.L. Engineering (a provider of technical building services) approached BMSL to take over its building engineering contracts. BMSL embraced this opportunity to fulfill its primary mission of developing a technical capability and acquired both the operating assets and contracts of J.L. Engineering. J.L. Engineering has over ten years experience in maintenance of buildings that are technologically integrated and has a core of technicians that now form the backbone of the organization.
