Barbados Manufacturers’ Exhibition: May 18th–21st 2018
The Barbados Manufacturers’ Exhibition or BMEX will take place in Barbados at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre from May 18th -21st 2018 under the theme ‘Bajan Fuh Real’.
Described as “the premier manufacturing exhibition on the island”, BMEX’s mission is to “provide opportunities for local manufacturers to display and promote their products, while increasing business and consumer awareness locally and throughout the region.”
The highly-anticipated showcase for Barbadian and Caribbean manufacturers helps businesses “establish and renew links locally, regionally and internationally” and connect with thousands of people who attend the prestigious expo.
Exhibitors are given four days to display and promote their products, and there’s even a competition to find the best booths for manufacturing and services.
Some of the companies who are taking part this year include Roberts Manufacturing Co. Limited; Western Wholesale; Ari’s Sweet Treats; Jeoluve Design Studio; Furniture Depot and Wilhelmina Heart.
This year’s exhibition will also include a variety of activities to keep the family entertained including a talent show on May 19th. The World Skills Competition for tertiary level students in the 16-21 age group, will also be held during BMEX weekend.
This is a great chance to support a range of local and regional businesses and possibly grab a bargain or two – make sure you don’t miss out!
