Barbados Reggae Festival 2018
The Barbados Reggae Festival 2018 will be staged between Sunday April 22nd and Sunday April 29th at various venues across the country.
The Festival is an exciting annual fixture on the island’s ‘What’s On’ calendar and regularly attracts reggae lovers from all over the Caribbean and the world with an average audience of 25,000 across the four events.
This will be the 14th year for the festival which always features “top quality local, regional and international Reggae acts” and this year some of the top performers include DJ Puffy, Scrilla, Lady Essence, Stiffy, Ding Dong, Tarrus Riley, Jah Cure and Maxi Priest.
The calendar for the festival is as follows:
Sunday April 22nd
Reggae Beach Party at Pirates Cove, Lower Bay Street, from 5pm to 11pm. Doors open at 4pm.
Friday April 27th
Vintage Reggae Show and Dance at the 3Ws stand, Kensington Oval, from 9pm to 3am. Doors open at 7pm.
Saturday April 28th
Reggae Party Cruise on board the MV Dream Chaser, from 10pm to 2am.
Sunday April 29th
Reggae on the Hill at Farley Hill National Park, St. Peter, from 1pm to 10pm. Gates open at 11am.
