Gospel Fest 2017


Gospel Fest 2017 will be held from Sunday 2nd to Sunday 30th April. The month-long music festival will be held under the theme, ‘15 Years of the Glorious Celebration of the Gospel.’ The festival, began in 2003, is designed to showcase Vincentian gospel expressions in music, song, dance and drama.

2017 Gospel Fest Schedule:

Sunday 2nd April: Opening Night Concert at Victoria Park, 6 pm.  Featuring outstanding artistes from 15 years of Gospel Fest with special guests performances by Sharlene Samuel from Trinidad and Kim Arthur of Canada.  Admissions XCD $10.

Friday 7th April:  A Glorious Celebration of Dance at Peace Memorial Hall, 8 pm. Dance groups from around the country.  Admissions XCD $10.

Sunday 9th April: A Glorious Celebration of Praise at the New Testament Church of God, Wilson Hill, 6pm. Concert with gospel bands from all around the country.

Friday 21st April:  Drum Praise at Hope for Life Restoration Ministries, Arnos Vale. The show starts at 7pm.

Saturday 22nd April: Our Faith In God Concert, featuring DJ Nicholas from Jamaica. Concert will be held at Diamond Deliverance Assembly Church Grounds, show time 6:30pm.

Sunday 23rd April: Zonal Gospel Showcases in song, dance and poetry.

  • Kingstown Zone Showcase at Faith Temple Church, New Montrose, 6 pm
  • Marriaqua Zone  Showcase, Glad Tidings Tabernacle, 6:30 pm
  • South Leeward Zone, Buccament Bay Playing Field, 6 pm

Friday 28th April:  Sing A New Song Competition at Hope for Life Restoration Ministries, Arnos Vale at 7pm.  The competition is for composition of original gospel songs.

Sunday 30th April:  National Gospel Showcase at Victoria Park. The grand finale Gospel Fest concert will feature the Zonal Gospel showcase winners. There will also be special guest performances by D’ Warrior from Jamaica and Neisha Woods of Barbados. Admissions XCD $20.
