Jamaica Food and Drink Festival 2017 Preview
Jamaica has long been a force on the global scene in music, sports, literature…you name it.
In October, the Jamaican culinary scene gets some time in the spotlight with the gastronomic extravaganza the 3rd annual Jamaica Food and Drink Festival.
This foodie event, running from 21-29 October , was modelled after celebrated international food festivals such as the Aspen Wine and Food Festival and the South Beach Wine and Food Festival.
Over the course of six days, there will be seven amazing food and drink events including: the all-inclusive Pork Palooza perfect for pork fanatics, Crisp celebrating all things crispy and fried and the spice-lovers’ paradise, Picante just to name a few. The events are spread out over eight famous venues in Kingston.
More than 45 top class chefs are set to take part in the festival including chef Andre Fowles, a winner of the Food Network’s cooking game show series Chopped.
The Jamaican Food and Drink Festival is an amazing showcase of the island’s incredible culinary talent , highlighting the country as a top gastronomic destination.
