Lexan Fletcher

Producer and host of the television show Chit Chat, Lexan Fletcher is classy and fabulous. She always wanted to be a star and she didn’t stop until she got there. This TV personality, former beauty queen, wife and mother has a busy life, but she does it all in style. In My Style Grenada, she shares her signature look with us.

Where do you shop in Grenada?

Jeans & Co. I am a denim and trousers kind of girl because I am constantly on the go.

What are your classic ‘must have’ items of clothing in your closet?

I love the classic ankle length pants. I like the flexibility in dressing them up or down.

Is there a particular style of clothing or jewellery that you favour?

I believe in simplicity. I like to be put together. My choices would have to be classic pieces accessorised with the perfect earrings.

If I looked in your closet now, what would I see?

Lots of tees in various styles.

How would you describe your work attire?

My line of work puts me at the centre of attention so presentation is key. Chic, classic pieces with splashes of colour is my preference.

How would you describe your evening/heading out with the girls’ attire?

Depending on the occasion, elegantly casual, a nice fitting pants, elegant top with comfortable shoes.

Do you prefer wearing flats or heels?

I wear heels when necessary but flats and low heeled pumps are my best friends. I prefer flats  simply because I never stay still. Those options are really practical choices for me.

What is your favourite lipstick?

I mix it up when it comes to lipstick and I have a thing for lip gloss, but there’s nothing like a signature red lipstick by MAC.

 What perfume do you wear?

When it comes to perfume it would have to be anything fruity.

Where do you get your hair styled?

My two favourite spots are Salon Success and Sandra’s.

Which celebrity’s style do you most admire?

I admire the classiness of Michelle Obama’s style.

What style tips did your mother pass onto you?

Makeup need not be loud and always present yourself well.
