As an artist, what inspires you?
The Belief that something I do can help make a change in the world. As a DJ and artist, I believe that Soca music creates a nostalgic feeling of happiness. If packaged and sold correctly, “who wouldn’t wanna buy happiness?” The world needs happiness.

Please describe your typical day:
I wake up, give thanks for another day of living, and check on my family. I start my daily conversations with my team, planning projects and ways to expand our brand.

Describe Trinidad in 3 words:
Beautiful, Festive, Home.

Have you lived anywhere else?
Besides Trinidad, I have lived in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Miami.

What does being Trinidadian mean to you?
It gives me a sense of pride to be from one of the happiest and most festive nations in the world.

Where on island do you like to kick back and relax with family and friends?
An occasional Lime on the avenue is always fitting, as well as a nice kick back on the beach or DDI (down D Islands) with my family.

What is your favourite genre of music?
Soca Music is my passion.

Where do you find your inspiration?
I am inspired naturally by my children. I am also inspired by the humble memories of how I grew up, being less fortunate than most.

What other artists inspire you?
Machel Montano, R city, and Lyrikal.

 What’s your favourite local food?
Roti and Doubles

Where would you recommend as a ‘must go’ to a first time visitor to Trinidad?
Maracus Beach for the Lime, food and natural island ambiance.
