Operation Brighter Days Social Media Campaign

By now we’ve all seen the images and videos of the devastating effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria on various Caribbean Islands. And like many others, we are heartbroken, possibly feeling a little helpless in the ways we can help. As is the case with most crises, the immediate necessities include money, food, medical supplies and more, to help all the affected individuals (Please see the following article for the various ways you can donate and help our fellow islands in need).

However, while the immediate physical needs are crucial, it is important that we do not forget about the spiritual needs of those affected. No matter how big the tragedy, it is crucial that we never lose hope – hope that things will get better and brighter days will come again. And that is the message we at Yello want to send to our Caribbean sisters and brothers in their time of need and we want your help.

We will be running a 6-week Operation Brighter Days social media campaign across all our social media channels, with the goal of igniting hope in the hearts of all those affected, by sharing messages of hope and inspiration. And we are asking for you, our Yello customers and consumers, to help us in our mission. We want you to share your inspiring messages – be it through photos, videos, poems, etc. on any or all of our social media channels.

Lend your voice in helping our fellow brothers and sisters affected by these hurricanes to find some peace and hope in the devastating aftermath. As a unit, we West Indians have always been a strong, resilient and motivated community and it is this strength and sense of community that will help us all get through this tragedy.
