St Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl
Turks and Caicos have been celebrating St. Patrick’s Day for over 20 years. The islanders go green by honouring the Irish holiday with pub crawls, parties and various other festive activates.
St. Patrick’s Day is an Irish holiday honouring the country’s patron saint. However, due to migration over time, you can find many Irish natives, or families with Irish roots in Turks and Caicos.
The annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl in Providenciales is set to take place on Saturday 17th March and will consist of three stops. It will start Mango Reef at 6pm, then to Sharkbite at 7pm, followed by Simone’s at 8pm.
Next to Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest nights on the island. Plenty of restaurants will require reservations on St. Patrick’s Day and will have menus dedicated to Ireland, featuring cultural dishes such as Bacon and Cabbage or Guinness Pie.
If you’re in Grace Bay, don’t forget to visit Danny Buoy’s, a classic Irish Pub that goes all out on St. Patrick’s Day, with special drinks, party hats and favours, and two bands playing a variety of traditional and modern music to get guests in the mood to dance the night away. These won’t be the only bars and restaurants going green; also check out Sandbar and Blu Bar & Lounge for drink specials and themed nights.
