In 1993, we opened our first restaurant in Aruba, with the mission to make the Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken and other Peruvian dishes better known here.
Our idea was well-received, and our food is now quite popular, becoming part of the Aruban daily meal. Because of this success, we decided to introduce the same idea in Florida. In 1995, we did so at our first location in Margate, and to even better results.
Since then, and because of the great acceptance, we decided to take our great food, prompt
attention and low prices to more and more places. We opened more locations: Hollywood in 1997, West Palm Beach and the second Margate outlet in 2001, Kendall and another in Aruba in 2002, Pembroke Pines in 2003, Orlando, Tamarac and Weston in 2004, our second location in Hollywood and two locations in Fort Pierce in 2005 and 2006 in Boca Raton and Chicago.
We took a big step in 2007, besides opening in Lauderhill, a second location in Pembroke Pines, and the second one in West Palm Beach, we started our franchising era. Our Kendall location became our first franchise, and Fort Myers became our second.
In 2003, the Restaurant Review Magazine recognised us as "The Best Peruvian Restaurant of the Year". This acclaim followed with "The Best Family Style Peruvian Restaurant" in 2004 and "Best Peruvian Cuisine of Fort Lauderdale 2007".
A family restaurant, La Granja is characterised by displaying great teamwork, excellent customer service, positivity and hard work. We are very proud of our employees, our job and our achievements. For more than twenty years we have been giving our customers the service and the food they deserve.
