Unfortunately I had to leave one star to be able to write this review, ideally it would have been zero!
Arthur construction own the land identified as 116 Wanstead Gardens, St James, Barbados so I have been informed. However, despite several residents in the area contacting them over the last seven years they have allegedly ignored/refused to clear the said land which is now becoming overrun with rats, posing a very serious health risk to the residents living in the vicinity.
The matter has also been reported to the ministry for the environment again to no avail.
It is very sad especially considering the current situation with COVID that this miserable issue is also plaguing this part of the parish. These companies supposedly promote themselves as advocates for the greater good, however, as demonstrated by this situation “ordinary” people who duly pay their taxes and adhere to the rules are brushed aside by those with money and kudos with the powers that be.
One can only hope that ARTHUR CONSTRUCTION will finally acknowledge their responsibility and do the right thing for the community concerned.
