North Shore Dental Clinic provides a relaxing and welcoming environment where
caring and professional staff make your whole family feel at ease.
The practice was started by Dr Virginia Burke in St Peter in 1999 to provide
treatment to patients primarily in the west, north and east of the island who may
have previously had to travel to Bridgetown to see a dentist.
Dr Burke graduated from New York's Columbia University, School of Dental and
Oral Surgery in 1995. She returned to Barbados after completing a two-year
hospital based General Practice Residency Programme, the last year being spent
as Chief Resident.
Dr Burke is a past president of the Barbados Dental Association (BDA), a past
member of the Barbados Dental Council, a present member of the subcommittee
dealing with the Dental Act and a present member of the BDA and the American
Dental Association. She is also an examiner with the Barbados Dental Examination
Board.
North Shore Dental Clinic is additionally staffed by Dr Carole Parris and three
hygienists
Andrea Marshall, Tanya McClean, and Heather Maynard.
Clients are encouraged to make an appointment for dental treatment so that we
can devote the appropriate amount of time for each procedure and reduce
waiting times. Emergency patients are accepted.
