In 1977 a young man pursued the vision of transforming the freighting industry in Barbados by providing an affording and reliable service to customers.
Although constrained by limited resources he persevered, against great odds, obtaining his first truck and then maintaining it, despite having no formal mechanical training. Motivated by his love for the business, he committed himself to building a sustainable business. As the business grew, additional staff was employed, and more trucks and equipment were added.
Today Junior Wood Trucking Services Inc. which was incorporated in 1997 is a significant player in the local freighting industry offering a full range of Freighting and Delivery services. These include the delivery of building materials such as sand, stone marl-filling, cement blocks, cement and steel.
The company also offers Rental services of equipment including Bobcats, Excavator, Backhoe, Roller and Concrete Mixers.
