The official calendar of activities for Barbados’ 2024 National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA) has been released.
The NIFCA season runs from 1-17 November and this year’s theme is: ‘Touching Every Heart in Every Community’.
NIFCA features exciting competitions and events for various age groups with over $250,000 (BBD) in awards and incentives on offer and some of the island’s most creative individuals and groups have signed up to take part.
They will showcase their national pride and exceptional talent in seven disciplines - dance, music, theatre, literary arts, culinary arts, visual arts, and film.
Ticketholders can expect to experience some memorable performances at well-known venues such as The Frank Collymore Hall, Queen’s Park, and Golden Square Freedom Park.
The public are encouraged to show their support by purchasing tickets from outlets across the island including The National Cultural Foundation, CS Pharmacy on Broad Street, mPowered at Sky Mall, the iShop in Sheraton, Fitterz Boutique in the J.B Complex at Six Roads and online at TicketLinkz.com.
