The Wesleyan Holiness Church is an Evangelical, Protestant denomination. The Wesleyan Holiness Church offers good news that faith in Jesus Christ makes possible a wonderful personal relationship with God, a holy life empowered by his spirit for witness, service and assurance of eternal life in heaven. The Wesleyan Holiness Church ministries emphasise practical bible teaching, uplifting worship and special programs to meet a variety of life needs. The Wesleyan Holiness Church is part of a holiness movement now operating in 80 countries of the world with over 5000 churches, formed in 1968 resulting from the merger between several like-minded groups dating back as far as 1843. The Wesleyan Holiness Church has its roots in John Wesley’s Methodism. The Wesleyan Holiness Church believes in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the Saviour of all men and women who place their faith in Him alone for eternal life. The Wesleyan Holiness Church believes that those who receive new life in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct and can only live this way by being filled the Lord’s Spirit. The Wesleyan Holiness Church believes in the authenticity of the bible (as God’s word) and seeks to establish the faith and actions on its teaching. The Wesleyan Holiness Church believes God’s will for people everywhere is to know Him and that the purpose of the church it is tell the world about Christ through worship, witness and loving deeds.
