Belize Vision Center has been in operation for over 34 years. Its doors were first opened to the public in 1980 by Dr. Amin Hegar. DrAmin Hegar is presently a member of the Lions Club of Belize and has also been a member of the American Academy of ophthalmology since 1990.
Belize Vision Center houses its own optical laboratory and can provide prescription lenses with 24hours as well as same-day cataract surgery.
