In 1958, not long after the Mennonites moved to Spanish Lookout, Belize, they started providing table eggs for the Belizean market. At first, operations were under Farmers Trading Center, but in 1997, we became Country Foods.
Until recently all the eggs were graded manually. However, in 2011, the company bought an egg grader. Now, all the eggs come graded and stamped.
Our eggs come in small, medium, large, extra-large, and jumbo sizes. With this new equipment, the company is looking into the export market.
At Country Foods, our goal is to provide customers with safe, high quality food, that is reasonably priced and delivered in a friendly atmosphere.
