Stevanni L. Duncan Ferrera is an Attorney at Law and Notary Public.
She has been a practicing attorney since 2011. Mrs. Ferrera first worked as a Crown Counsel in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
As Crown Counsel, she prosecuted serious criminal offences and secured convictions in high profile cases. The most notable case being The Queen v Gregory August, which was appealed all the way to the highest appellate court for Belize, the Caribbean Court of Justice.
After approximately one year of working as a Crown Counsel, Mrs. Ferrera joined the team of attorneys at Barrow & Williams LLP, one of the premier law firms in the country.
Whilst at the firm, she was a member of the Litigation Committee, the Corporate Affairs Committee, and the Management Committee.
After approximately seven years of professional growth and practice at Barrow & Williams, Mrs. Ferrera opened SLD Law Office in December 2019.
Her goal is to ultimately found a chambers-styled practice that can house other sole practitioners and law-related businesses.
Mrs. Ferrera has a general practice which includes real estate, estate planning and succession, civil litigation, commercial, as well as employment and labour, among other areas.
