It's Going to be Grand - Bonaire Regatta 2024

The event to rival all others is finally here! The long-awaited Bonaire Regatta 2024 is a grand affair that immerses locals and visitors in Bonairean culture and heritage. It takes place from 6 to 12 October 2024 and boasts a line-up of activities for everyone: the young, old, and in between.

It all kicks off with the water activities on 6 October, which will include sailing, the crowd-favourite Swim to Klein Bonaire, and other water sports competitions. Amidst the exhilarating aquatic amusements, organisers have included a Regatta Village, a central point for high-energy land festivities.

Musical entertainment will surely be one of the biggest draws to Regatta Village, which will be in Kralendijk along Malekon Boulevard. Patrons will enjoy a four-day musical festival with acts that will keep them on their feet each night. The exciting ensemble includes local bands like Luis Moka and Palu Grandi, Payola, Fenty, JC & Friends, FMK, Ritmiko Timon, Foyan Boyz, and ESO. They will be joined by Curacao’s Icons and Aruba’s Tsunami.

Still, the merriment does not stop there. In addition to the music festival, local artisans and culinary trendsetters will bring the village to life. Whether day or night, there will always be something happening, with designated areas for food trucks and stalls, art, craft and fashion accessories booths, plant/nursery vendors, and more. Even the little ones have been catered for with their very own kid’s section.
