Nestled among lush tropical landscape, Montessori By The Sea was established in September 2000, with just one Toddler and one Casa Program. Our school is now home to one Toddler Program (20 months-3 years old), two Casa programs (3-6 years), two Lower Elementary (6-9 years) Programs, one Upper Elementary Program (9-12 years) and one Middle Years Program (12-14 years).
Our classrooms are safe, warm and nurturing environments, prepared and staffed by dedicated educators. All classes are equipped with materials, equipment, and furniture that allow maximum exploration and use of the senses by our students, and are designed to meet the changing need of each child as an individual.
In all Programs, our students participate in cooking and nutrition, multicultural experiences, Physical Education, French, Music and creative movement, Art, Science, Information Communications Technology and nature. Life skills, Grace and Courtesy, Conflict Resolution skills and programs designed for our students to participate in the greater community are also incorporated into our curriculum.
Our teachers are qualified professionals and our low ratios ensure that each child is given the individualized attention that he/she requires. We are very proud of our students and school, and encourage parents to observe and see the children working and interacting in the classroom.
