Founded in 2012, Excel Sports Management (ESM) offers a comprehensive elite football development programme. Through professional-level training, quality camps, overseas training and trial opportunities, our goal is to provide a safe and challenging environment for players to develop to their fullest potential.
ESM offers four key services: afterschool group training sessions, individual private lessons, camps, and international travel. Each pillar of ESM serves to build the youth player to reach their fullest football potential.
Afterschool group training sessions
Our afterschool training programme runs from September through June and is led by professional UEFA qualified coaches. Sessions are designed to develop the player from the foundation up, starting with eye-ball coordination, ball mastery, coordination, balance, speed, technical and tactical awareness.
Sessions focus on game play, 1v1 drills and physical player development. Each registered player attends two 90-minute training sessions per week. Full kit and water bottle are provided to each registered player.
Private/Semiprivate Lessons
Private lessons allow players to focus on development in specific areas, including strength and conditioning, ball mastery, tactical awareness, confidence, and sports psychology. Coaches work with players to identify key target areas most likely to improve their in-game performance. Video analysis is available to players receiving private coaching.
Camps
ESM hosts a range of camps during school break periods. Camps are a great way for kids to stay physically active during school breaks. Lunch and snacks are always provided, and fun and friendship are the primary focus at ESM football camps. ESM also partners with professional overseas clubs to host elite camps which provide local players with access to high levels of intense professional training. Camp costs vary.
UK and European Tours
International travel provides players with critical exposure to unique football development
opportunities. Travel gives players the ability to gain independence, self-confidence, and an invaluable experience of football outside of their comfort zones. Adjusting to unfamiliar opponents and playing environments is fundamental to the holistic model of player development and something difficult to teach in the context of Cayman football. In the past ESM tours have allowed players to train and play at professional and semi-professional clubs in England, Holland, and Jamaica.
