State-owned, Gravel Concrete and Emulsion Production Corporation (GCEPC) is the sole producer and supplier of gravel aggregates in Grenada. GCEPC was established in an Act of Parliament (Act 43 of 1986) by the Government of Grenada.
At GCEPC we aim to manage the exploitation of naturally occurring aggregate material and to manufacture products and by-products. We seek to supply and satisfy the needs of government and private demand. Gravel, Concrete and Emulsion Production Corporation are made up of the two (2) functional units which are:
Our gravel mining facilities located in Mon Rush, St. George’s constitutes the core and most critical function of our operations. The gravel is mined and screened into various sizes including the production of inland quarry sand for the local and regional construction industry.
And, located at Queens Park, St. George’s, our concrete department manages the supply of ready-mix concrete and a variety of concrete products. We offer blocks, culverts and inverts, the in-house laboratory and imported silica white sand.
