The Grenada National Training Agency was established in 2009 by the GCTVET Act. We are the national entity responsible for overseeing, designing, monitoring, promoting, and instituting technical and vocational education and training (TVET) to meet Grenada's skills development needs.
One of our primary goals is to develop, implement and maintain a national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) plan that will create a competent, certified, innovative, enterprising, and entrepreneurial workforce for the local and regional international labour markets.
We also aim to establish and maintain a national TVET system to harmonise, standardise, monitor, and evaluate all formal and informal national training efforts in TVET within the state. Our other focus areas are continuously assessing and providing relevant information on TVET and workforce development.
Our efforts in workforce development include the demand for and supply of human resources in collaboration with state and other agencies and assist, support and encourage the development of training programmes designed to promote innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship in Grenada's human resources.
