General Information

MATPAL Marine Institute is the satellite in Guyana for both the Caribbean Maritime Institute (CMI) of Jamaica and Panama Maritime Training Services (PMTS). The Institute has been addressing the training needs of Guyanese seafarers as well as those from within the Region, since it was founded on the 5th October 1999. From its inception to now, the Institute has successfully trained a substantial number of persons within and outside of the marine industry of Guyana and has earned a reputation for excellence in service.
