Farfan and Mendes began business in Guyana in 1960 and was officially incorporated in 1976. The group includes Farfan and Mendes Ltd and Mines Services Ltd. Our Motto is "Promoting Development Through Quality, Service and Integrity." In the 1990's, Farfan and Mendes evolved into a reliable supplier of
industrial equipment, including machinery for the timber industry, the wood working industry and the agricultural industry, as well as chemical fogging equipment, power tools, tyres for most types of vehicles, pulling and lifting systems, among others. Advancing into the 21st Century, we are continuing to expand our range of products and services to anticipate and satisfy the needs of our customers, and our renovated Urquhart Street office is fully equipped to handle our increasing customer base with efficient point of sale and after sales service. With the addition of our sister company Mines Services Limited
at our spacious Providence location, we are now able to offer industrial tyre repair and truck wheel alignment, and to manufacture wire rope slings and hydraulic and industrial hose to the specifications of the individual customer. In all aspects of business, the Company offers a high standard of service, before, during and after any sale. To maintain an efficient after sales service, large stocks of spare parts are
always available, and our efficient, skilled and committed Service Department is equipped with all the necessary tools to assist our customers without undue delay.
