Cornwall Garden Center started out as a backyard garden in October 2002, with three members of staff. It was the inspiration of Mr and Mrs Lennisford & Yolande Cornwall, who had a natural talent, and appreciation of nature, plants and flowers.
It was later moved to a 12 X 12 building and then to its current location at 105 Barnett Street. Cornwall Garden Center has over the years grown to be the only full-service landscaping, irrigation and garden center in western Jamaica and rated among the best in the Caribbean.
Our services include, landscaping architecture and designs, landscape maintenance and contractor irrigation designs, supplies and installation, plus floral arrangements for hotels, residential and commercial complexes. We have a team of trained experts in the fields of landscaping, floral arrangement, wedding and gift items.
We have provided landscaping and irrigation services to companies such as Whitter Village, Secret Hotel, Azul Hotel Negril, Vista Print, Holiday Inn, Tryall Hotel, Round Hill Hotel, The Palmyra and other entities both residential and commercial. We always strive to preserve, protect and restore our environment. We use the river water to irrigate our plants and will be installing solar systems to facilitate cost saving, which will enable us to be more efficient and environmentally friendly.
Our vision for Cornwall Garden Center is to open more branches and to extend our services island wide. Recently, we have embarked on expanding the Garden Center to include a pet store, green grocery and restaurant. Our ability to provide the level of service and value that our customers have come to expect is a team effort.
