Allied Trucking & Maritime Services Limited (ATMS) is a Limited Liability Company incorporated in June 2004 under the Laws of Jamaica. The company has its registered office at Kingport Building, 5 Third Street, Newport West, Port Bustamante. The Company began operations in January 2005. The Company has the Technical capability, equipment, experience and management to perform an efficient, safe, and reliable service to the purchaser. ATMS owns and operates a fleet of sixteen (16) Tractor Head units fitted with GPS tracking. In addition, we own a fleet of over one hundred (100) twenty (20) and forty (40) Chassis units. Included in our equipment fleet are forty Flatbed units, one ten ton Forklift and a Forty ton Lowboy unit
Our Haulage/Logistics Department is headed by an experienced Logistics /Service provider, a central or focal point of our Haulage/Logistics operations, and is assisted by seasoned Logistics coordinators.
The Haulage/Logistics Department is the central or focal point of our Haulage/Logistics operations. Here we liaise with our operational personnel on the Port, as well as with Customer representative, Port personnel and our drivers. The drivers are all in contact with us by CUG Telephone system whilst we track all our units by GPS. The department is the central point where instructions are received, then disseminated from the Manager and Logistic coordinator to all concerned.
ATMS will provide standby support outside the service window. Once there is a requirement for service outside the service window, we are always flexible to respond by putting the necessary resources and arrangements in place to fit the requirement. We undertake to use all our best efforts to ensure that the service remains available in the event of a disaster. As members of the Shipping Association of Jamaica, we are privy to disaster preparedness i.e. hurricanes, earthquakes, fire, flooding. Equipment and fuel are stored in a safe location at all times pending disaster and personnel are put on standby for any eventuality.
