Barnett Ltd has been an agricultural enterprise with the roots in the sugar industry. Barnett Ltd also been a land developer since the 1970’s, provides Montego Bay with much needed housing and commercial space that enabled the city to grow. As the economy diversified away from agriculture, Barnett evolved into being a developer of commercial and residential properties, and developed a master plan in the 1990s that encompassed the contemporary and future needs of Montego Bay.
