Carambi Construction Limited is owned and operated by Carl Sharpe, a mechanical engineer, and Donna-Kaye Sharpe, a management executive. The company was registered in October 2001 and began operation in December 2005.
Carambi Construction Limited was formed to continue the work begun in 1988 by a previous company owned and operated by Carl Sharpe, Superior Engineering Construction Limited. Superior Engineering Construction Limited was founded by Carl Sharpe, and Gillian Sharpe, a civil engineer, in May 1988 and incorporated in the same year. Superior Engineering Construction Limited ceased operation in December 2005. Carambi Construction Limited provides building construction, interior construction, building maintenance and construction management services, primarily to corporate clients within Jamaica.
Over the years the owners have carved out a niche for themselves in Jamaica's construction industry by engaging extensively in the refurbishing of existing buildings. We have provided services to, Air Jamaica Ltd., Bank of Nova Scotia (Ja.) Ltd., National Commercial Bank (Ja.) Ltd., the Airports Authority, Xerox (Ja.) Ltd., Kier Construction Ltd., Brecon (Ja.)
