Idea Lab Jamaica is a business incubator, co-working space and seed accelerator. Our vision is to inspire, motivate and encourage entrepreneurship through collaboration. To this end, we provide a holistic set of services to support start-ups and small businesses looking for growth, through partnership and the sharing of ideas.
Idea Lab Jamaica was born out of an ideation process by co-founders Sheldon Power and Jason Clarke. They aimed to establish a business incubator to fast track the growth of small businesses, specifically those focused on technology.
Traditionally business incubator facilitates the growth of a small business by providing needed physical space requirements such as affordable office space, as well as business support services. We have taken things a little further.
Collaboration is crucial to the sustainable growth of small businesses and provides ideas to entrepreneurs. It allows for shared exploration and development of a simple idea. Our facility is designed to recognise the power of collaboration and foster it.
