We ensure that a high standard of professional conduct is maintained by persons in the industry, as well as by those seeking to enter, and we issue licences to Real Estate Dealers and Salesmen.
We also focus on the monitoring of dealers, salesmen and developers to ensure that they comply with the requirements of the Real Estate Act and the Real Estate Regulations, promulgated under the Act.
We were established out of a need to protect members of the public using the services of real estate dealers to purchase a property.
Also, to offer protection to those engaging in contracts with private land and housing developers for the acquisition of units in housing schemes.
