Restaurant Associates Limited, franchisee of Burger King and Popeye’s Jamaica, began operations in December 1984. Over the years, the company has expanded its locations and now boasts 26 stores island-wide. Today, Burger King’s name has become embedded in the hearts of all Jamaicans and we have formed good relations with our customers, suppliers, and shareholders.
Burger King believes strongly in nation building and as such we have invested heavily in youth, education, sports and entertainment. Some of our programmes that promote and enrich these facets include the Burger King National Scholarship Programme, the Burger King National Secondary and Primary Schools' Debating Competition, the Burger King/YMCA Prep and Primary Schools' Swim Meet, and the Burger King Grand Prix Road Race Series. These ventures have blossomed tremendously
producing nurtured young men and women of great substance - academically, socially and morally.
