EJ's Trading was born out of a need for more of a variety of baskets to complement what were already locally available. The colours, sizes, designs and different materials, just a need for baskets with pizzazz that could even be a treasured keepsake. With this need, the first shipment of a myriad of baskets arrived in time for Mother's Day 1994. This shipment was intended to meet the rush for that period, the slow summer months and the Christmas season. Sales were literally done from the back of a car.
Mothers' Day sales exceeded expectations, which resulted in two subsequent shipments to supply the overwhelming demand leading up to Christmas of that year. Due to the encouraging response and various requests for other complementary lines Cellophane, Beauty Grass, Ribbons, and bows were quickly added.
These Lines did equally well. Over time, other related lines have been introduced. Today, the core items of EJ's Trading are: Baskets, cellophane, ribbons, bows and beauty grass. However, we do carry a full range of supplies, catering toward the floral, event planning, promotion, party, sympathy, and wedding industries, along with exquisite gift items. EJ's Trading has earned a reputation since its inception for stocking unique, excellent quality gift items at the best price.
