The Jamaica Athletics Administration Association (JAAA) is the national governing body for the sport of athletics inclusive of track & field, long-distance running and race walking in Jamaica.
A member of IAAF, NACAC and JOA, the association is integrally involved in developing and maintaining the tradition of Jamaica being the sprint capital of the world. JAAA is committed to providing a safe sport that maintains only the highest ethical and honourable standards.
The association is led by a management team responsible for day-to-day operations and the major task of planning, coordinating, promoting and implementing the various sporting programmes and activities that make Jamaica world famous.
Membership to the JAAA is open to persons qualified as an official by the association or who has represented Jamaica as an athlete, athletics official or coach to specified meets, games or championship. Performances by the likes of Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Yohan Blake, Nesta Carter, Merlene Ottey, Grace Jackson, Alia Atkinson and many others continue to make the JAAA justly proud for the work we do as administrators.
