OHDoc Occupational Health Services is owned and operated by Dr Sharon East-Miles, a consultant
occupational health physician. OHDoc provides occupational health services to any business and its
employees to protect employees' health while engaged in work activities.
The aim is to assist human resource professionals to address employees' health-related issues
satisfactorily, to minimise the impact on their work capability.
Dr East-Miles is a medical doctor, trained at UWI, Mona. She holds Master of Public Health in
Occupational Health (OH) from Tulane University, USA, and the specialist qualification (MFOM) in
Occupational Medicine from London, UK. She is registered with the Medical Council of Jamaica.
Dr East-Miles has over 18 years of experience in occupational health working with several companies in Jamaica and the UK and over 30 years of experience as a general practitioner. She worked as an
occupational health physician for six years in the UK providing OH services to a variety of businesses
spanning all sectors. She is currently the Head of the Occupational Health Unit at the University Hospital of the West Indies
