I had a few questions regarding evictions in Jamaica. When I called the person was having conversations with another person while talking to me - forcing me to repeat my question three times, then the representative hang up the phone without answering any of my questions. Disrespectful and poor customer service.
I spoke with Sheena, she was a breath of fresh air. I needed to know if a rental verification contract with standard questions was legal. The answer was yes, but not generally common. I had previously called the Kingston Legal Clinic, The Justice of the Peace Department, the Ministry of Justice Department, and no one could give me a straight answer. Thank God for the referral to the Rental Assessment Board. I had my answer in 5 minutes after 3 hours of failed research. Thank you.
