The Insurance Commission of The Bahamas is an independent regulatory agency with responsibility for regulating all insurance activity in and through The Bahamas. It serves as the primary prudential and market conduct regulator, and provides ongoing monitoring and control of all insurers, agents, brokers, salespersons, underwriting managers and external insurers.
