The Laborie Credit Union fosters democracy. Every year at our Annual General Assembly (AGM), our members engage in discussions on how we can be better. The AGM, the highest decision making body of the Laborie Credit Union, offers our members the opportunity to elect the persons who serve as officers of the Credit Union Board.
Education is important to the Laborie Credit Union. To this end, three scholarships are offered annually to students desirous to pursue a five year secondary school programme. The Hilary Darcheville scholarship is given to the applicant who obtained the highest score in the Common Entrance Examinations. The other two awards are offered on the basis of performance and financial need.
